wabi-sabi travels was born from a deep love for Japan. When our founder Julien Villevoye first set foot on Japanese soil in 2017, he was enchanted. In 2019, he, together with his girlfriend, moved to Tokyo. The attention to every detail, so inherent to Japanese culture, slowed life down. The appreciation for craftsmanship and quality was immediately inspiring, as was the energy of the people. Here, everything felt right.
