Our journey takes us to Japan's most captivating destinations: Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, and the Setouchi Triennale, unfolding across the serene islands of the Seto Inland Sea.

This journey is led by Constance van Berckel, an independent curator, art entrepreneur, and high-end event organizer, dedicated to merging art and creativity with personal development and nature's inherent wisdom, with the goal of inspiring positive societal change.

Tokyo

In Tokyo, a city that seamlessly blends tradition with cutting-edge innovation, we will explore its incredible museums, galleries, and digital experiences, as well as private studio visits of the city’s most exciting contemporary artists.
Our journey will take us through dynamic neighbourhoods of Roppongi and Daikanyama known for its art scene and modern architecture; Yanaka and Ueno, rich in historical charm and cultural institutions; Harajuku and Shibuya, hubs of youthful fashion and vibrant street culture; and Shinjuku, where the pulse of the city mixes with iconic shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences.


Hakone & Enoura

On your way to Hakone in Kanagawa, visit the Enoura Observatory in Odawara, designed by Hiroshi Sugimoto. This stunning site blends art, nature, and architecture, celebrating Japanese aesthetics and culture.
Hakone, known for its scenic beauty, offers two remarkable art museums: the Hakone Open Air Museum, featuring an outdoor sculpture garden with works by Picasso, and the Hakone Narukawa Art Museum, showcasing Lake Ashi and Mount Fuji views alongside traditional and modern Japanese art. We’ll explore the iconic Ryoan-ji and Kinkaku-ji, renowned for their Zen gardens and stunning architecture. Additionally, we’ll visit galleries and museums showcasing both classical and contemporary Japanese art, offering a comprehensive experience of Kyoto's artistic and historical legacy.


Setouchi Islands & Triennale

Beyond the mainland, we will enjoy the tranquil Seto Inland Sea, where we will experience the unique culture and identity of its islands. We will delve into the vision of the Setouchi Triennale, visiting the many museums, outdoor exhibitions and exquisite architecture. This initiative focuses on revitalizing its population and restoring the ecosystems of its islands and seas and efforts to preserve and rejuvenate both natural and cultural landscapes while fostering economic and cultural dynamism.
World Expo 2025 (Osaka)

A pivotal highlight of our journey will be the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, themed “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” This world-renowned event will mark its return to Japan. Experience groundbreaking new media exhibits, performances and immersive installations.
